Room is clean and the location is within 7 minutes walk to Kyoto station, which has the JR, the Shinkansen and the local subway. The bus terminal is also nearby so getting around is super easy. We got the executive room, which is spacious and has a private entry where you can put shoes and small luggage. There is even a massage chair in the room! The hotel is also connected to the underground so there is no worry about getting wet in the rain. There is an escalator and an elevator that take you from the underground up to the floor of the hotel lobby. There is a Don Quijote with a minute walk, and the food options between the hotel and Kyoto station are plenty. Kyoto tower is with a minute walk. The Yodabashi building next to the hotel has a grocery market in the basement, and a large electronics store where you can get batteries, power adapters, and other electronics. The hotel even has washer/dryers on Level 2 for you to do some quick laundry (cost between 100 yen to 500 yen depending on whether you are washing or drying or both). The nice thing is you can check the status of the machines from the TV in your room! You also do not need to bring your detergent or washing powder!

Room was small but clean and bathroom had both a seperate shower and tub. Bed was comfortable, great A/C, very nice towels, (some of the nicest towels I have had in Japan) Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great, new shopping, bus stops, trains station, and next too Kyoto Tower. Breakfast was ok, served on 2nd floor had a variety of foods, taste was ok, Coffee was good and staff was very helpful. The room was small but clean, and the bathroom included both a separate shower and a tub. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. The towels provided were some of the nicest I’ve had in Japan. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, with new shopping areas, bus stops, a train station, and Kyoto Tower nearby. The breakfast, served on the second floor, was decent and offered a variety of options; the coffee was good, and the staff was very accommodating.

Location is excellent. The B2 level connects to the subway that can access the Porta dining and shopping areas. It also connects to the subway station (Haruka airport express train) So you can literally go shopping, eating, subway station WITHOUT walking on the street level. It's pretty cool. You can also access the Yodobashi building (right next to the hotel) which has floors of electronics, top floors of dining and shopping and basement floor for supermarket. This supermarket sells stuff a lot cheaper than the other supermarket at Isetan. The only downside is it only takes cash. It's the typical 4 star rating Japanese hotel: staffs are professional, rooms are super clean, and location is probably the best of all I've been to at Kyoto. Remember there are (2) Daiwa Roynet Hotels by the Kyoto station. This one is the higher end one I believe because it has the word "premier" at the end.

The location was close to the train station, bank and starbucks. It was easy to get around & get cash when needed. The room was a twin and very good size. We loved the pajamas! Super fun. The shower was amazing and unique with how the shower was outside of the tub. Great water pressure and hot was hot and cold was cold. The breakfast was really good. Lots of options. Beds were comfortable and the window blinds were true to Japanese style. We had plenty of room for our luggage and lots of hooks to hang items. The laundry room was a good size with easy access. I like how you don't need to worry about soap (its automatic). Oh, the mirror has a heated section so it doesn't steam up! We would highly recommend this hotel.

Lori

Great location near train station. Wonderful range of products available for use in your room - including Twinnings tea. Good having bath and shower to use. Breakfast had a range of food choices so could start the day with a full stomach. Really appreciated having cupboard space and a larger sized safe in the room. Multiple coin washer/dryers but try to use in the middle of the day between sight seeing trips to avoid the rush or missing out, as very popular. Hotel was able to loan an umbrella so didn’t need to buy one and carry it around. Would happily stay again.
